Online money making

In this blog, I will post not only on ways to make money online. But also on scams. Letting you know which sites are hot and which sites are not. Pointing out the good and bad in online money making opportunities.

If there is an opportunity you would like me to look into, leave me a comment with the web URL and I'll investigate it for you.

As well, if you would like to look more into any of the opportunities I post on. I have provided a search box for your convenience. Please use it for all your personal research needs.

In addition, I have provided a content box just below the blog archive. There you will find other opportunities to make money online as well at other methods. Be sure to have a look at those as well. But be sure to do some research on any "opportunity" before joining. And keep in mind, there are a lot of people out there who are paid to go onto forums, blogs, etc. and try to convince you to spend your hard earned money to join up for a scam.

Just weigh the good against the bad. If 70% or more posted comments and/or blogs speak ill of the site. Chances are it's a scam.

If it's on the list, people were pissed.

Here, I will simply post a list of PPC sites that fall under the "SCAM" category. The reason they are on this list will be one of the following.

1. Do not pay.
2. Too many bad reviews/complaints and/or comments on the web.
3. Related and/or linked to previously known scammers.

Many of the listed sites I have personally tested and found to be a waste of time. The rest I have done much research and found far too many complaints for them to be legitimate. If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Also, feel free to use the search box above to research any or all of the sites listed below. As well, I have provided a content box with other opportunities to earn online. So be sure to visit some of those as well. But always remember to research a site before joining, especially if it requires a fee.

Amazon Affiliate program: Get paid when others shop.

Affiliate programs, I'm sure you've heard of them. With affiliate programs, you get paid to promote a spacific product or service.

One of these affiliate programs is Amazon Associates affiliate program. Amazon Associates is one of the first online affiliate marketing programs and was launched in 1996. The Amazon Associates program has a more than 14 year track record of developing solutions to help website owners, Web developers, and Amazon sellers make money by advertising millions of new and used products from Amazon.com and its subsidiaries, such as Endless.com and SmallParts.com. When website owners and bloggers who are Associates create links and customers click through those links and buy products from Amazon, they earn referral fees. It’s free to join and easy to use.

Now keep in mind that this will only have the potential to make you a good amount of money if you have a website or page that gets a lot of traffic and your viewers follow your link and make a purchase. So be sure you only post links on your site relivent to the content on your page or website.

For example, if you have a blog, forum, website, etc.. where you talk about new and/or upcoming movies. You will want to post links to movies for sale on amazon or one of its subsidiaries.

Though the percentage you make is not a substantial amount, it does have the potential to add up quickly. Say Amazon gets 100 sales from people clicking on your link in a month at 10% of the sale cost of a $100 product. That would be $1,000 just for that month. Sounds like a lot of sales but how many people shop on amazon already anyway. Face it, Amazon is huge and shopped by millions everyday. Why not get a little of the profit made on Amazon for yourself?

I personally have an account with them but have not gotten a payment yet as I have just signed up. But with extensive research and watching them for the past three years, I have found nothing but good reviews on them.

Again, feel free to research them further using the search box at the top of the page. And as always, questions and comments are welcome.

If you would like to give Amazon associates affiliate program a try, you can join for free here.

A.W. Surveys: A.W.= A Waste.

If you have managed to stumble upon this site and are considering signing up as I did. Let me start by saying, Leave! Do not waste your time and effort.

A.W. Surveys is free to join and promises you between $1 and $25 for each completed survey. They also offer you $1.25 for everyone you refer and a $6 sign-on bonus.

Now, with the cash-out set at only $75, A.W. Surveys seem like a great deal. But in reality, it is far from it.

The time required to reach this pay-out can be cut very short, if you have 56 friends ready and willing to sign up. If you do, that will put you at $76 almost immediately. But let's be realistic, how many people have that many ready and willing friends on standby to help them out? So unless you are a well liked celebrity, chances are you wont easily convince that many people to join in order for you to reach the minimum payout required. So, about how long will it take for the average person?

Well, lets take a look at how it went for me. I put in the time to join up, maybe five minutes putting me at $6.
I had 6 friends and family members after some convincing, got them to join as well. This gave me an extra $7.5, putting me at a staggering $13.5. I know what your thinking, "This guy is on his way to making millions". Ha ha, just a little humor, as this was not the case at all.

Regardless, I'm thinking this might be a good way to make an extra income. So I log back on the following day and what do I find? Nothing? No sir! I have myself my first survey. I'm thinking, "AWESOME!, Time to make some money". I click on the text ad and begin my first survey at the end of which, I have just earned myself another dollar putting me at $14.5.

I'm happy at this point, so I check back the following day. Nothing, the next day, nothing. I continue checking back daily for about three weeks when finally, another survey. After taking this survey, another dollar. Kind of frustrated at this point as this was the only one in three weeks. So I continue checking back everyday which quickly turned to every other day. After another month, I finally receive my third survey.

I now have found out that I am only receiving one survey per month. With this in mind, I realize that at this rate it is going to take me another 60 months (five years) just to reach the minimum payout, hardly worth it.

At this point, I figure I'll just come back once a month to do my one survey. And in the process started probing deeper into the legacy that is A.W. Surveys. And that legacy was/is one of no payouts and terminated accounts for false accusations.

I found that hundreds, even thousands of users of A.W. Surveys upon reaching the minimum payout and requesting their money never received any of their earnings.

Many also complain that upon approaching the minimum payout, their accounts were terminated for various terms of service violations. This, to my knowledge, never happened to me because after finding hundreds of complaints all over the web, I simply stopped visiting the site.

Many say after finding that their accounts were terminated, tried to contact A.W. Surveys customer service by sending in a support ticket, which yielded no response despite sending numerous tickets.

So please, as with flybizs.com. Do not waste your time with A.W. Surveys. With no valid proof of payments whatsoever anywhere on the web, I would, without hesitation, classify A.W. Surveys as a scam and nothing more than a waste of the users valuable time.

As always, comments are welcome and encouraged.

GDI: What is it?

Exactly what is GDI – It stands for Global Domains International. This is organization is selling the domain name, “.WS” around the world, and has done so for the past 10 years, as if this writing.

The Company – Alan Ezeir (President) and Michael Reed (CEO) are the founders. This company, Global Domains International Inc., was established in 2000.

Their Product – Are you asking “so what IS “.WS” domain? It is considered to be a top level domain extension, much like “.COM”. Each of the nations received a unique top level domain, examples being “.US” for the United States, “.UK” for the United Kingdom. This domain that’s in question here has now been assigned to Samoa.

Being forward thinkers, Alan and Michael saw an opportunity to begin promoting the “.WS” domain. They quickly realized what a huge seller it would be if they could market it as the short word for “Web Site.”

You always start out domain registrations with the 7 day Free Trial, and at the end of the free trial period you’re billed $10 monthly. That charge covers URL forwarding, a web site builder and web hosting, and 10 email accounts.

Compensation Plan – Because this is a 5 Level Plan, you are able to build as wide as you can imagine. For every domain that becomes registered in your team you receive payment of $1 per month.

So the example we generally use is based on 5 customers being referred by you. Basically that means you make $5 a month when you refer 5, if they do the same thing that’s $25 to you, and if everyone continues this way through 5 levels that gives you $3,125 each month.

Also, if you are able to match a rather strict criteria, and maintain it every month, there’s also an infinity bonus which is paid out on unlimited levels.

Bonuses – There’s also a 7 day contest period offered. If you are able to refer 5 paid affiliates, your bonus would be $100. For example, because this is unlimited – if you were able to refer 25 new paid in affiliates in 7 days, you’d be looking at $500, and so on.

For someone who is really charged up, and refers a total of 1,000 paid affiliates in a consecutive 4 week period, you would received the Heavy Hitter Bonus. That bonus happens to be $5,000.

Global Domains International Review Verdict: GDI has an excellent product in my opinion. At this time domains are in really high demand. However, most people need to be educated before making a specific choice for a domain that’s top level. There also appears to be a terrific opportunity for making money here as well.

Like the majority of MLM opportunities, you need to be prepared to make the effort to create the volume of income you need to before leaving your current full time job.

As long as the correct system for marketing this idea is attached, there’s a terrific potential for anyone to make a substantial income.

However, I will repeat and stress: IF it comes with the correct marketing system attached. To be successful at this you either need excellent experience for on-line marketing, or you’ll need to gather information on an easy use system that has duplicity.

It is the goal of this Global Domains International Review to have given you the needed insight about this opportunity, and hope it will assist you in making a well informed decision.

Global Domains International – Opportunity, Or a Fraud?

The online company Global Domains International, GDI, provides online opportunities to earn income, and it has an MLM-type commission structure for affiliates. The company provides customers with a generic web-domain, but it also includes a video marketing system that is supposed to do the selling for you. There is no start-up cost, and GDI even offers a seven day free trial period. There is, however, an ongoing cost of $10 a month. This article is going to take a closer look at the claim that Global Domains International is a fraudulent site, and if their opportunity is a scam.

The very first thing to consider when evaluating any business opportunity is the company’s reputation. Do some front-end research to determine what the overall nature of the company is. Are there success stories being posted on web-sites that are not affiliated with the company itself? Are their online review sites that have something to say about the company? Ripoffs are pretty difficult to cover up, especially if the company is web-based.

People are natural born talkers, but this does not mean that everything you read from individuals online is true.

Remember to look at the big picture and take both good and bad reviews with a grain of salt. Simply put, use your own intuition when it comes to the final decision.

While you are conducting your background check, be sure to check out the Better Business Bureau (BBB) online. The BBB shows the complaints that have been filed about any company you wish to search. A quick search reveals that there are multiple complaints against GDI and that it is not BBB accredited. This is not overly alarming, however, it does mean that the company needs to be further investigated.

There is not much current information about GDI on the BBB site. This can be either good or bad news, but it does not confirm whether this company is a scam or not.

So is it possible to determine whether or not GDI is a trustworthy opportunity or a scam?

At first glance, those who do not know much about GDI, or those who have had bad experiences with like companies in the past, may be quick to call GDI an outright scam. This quick sentencing may be based on a misunderstanding of multilevel marketing, how the industry operates, and how people can make a profit as distributors. One way to tell if GDI is a scam is to find out that they are operating a true pyramid scheme. What is a true pyramid scheme?

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission website defines a pyramid scheme as a business where: “participants attempt to make money solely by recruiting new participants into the program. The hallmark of these schemes is the promise of sky-high returns in a short period of time for doing nothing other than handing over your money and getting others to do the same.” This business model is not only unsustainable, it is also illegal in many countries.

Since GDI does offer products and services, albeit intangible ones, I would not classify Global Domains International as a certifiable scam. On another note, the business owner (you) does not earn anything unless they recruit other people to join GDI and use the company’s products and services as well. So I would evaluate GDI as a potential scam business. It does not operate illegally, but it does come close to qualifying as a scam.

After thoroughly researching the business opportunity that is being offered, a new distributor would have to begin recruiting almost immediately in order to begin making money. It also seems as if a distributor would have to recruit thousands of others to achieve a comparable full-time income. GDI boasts that there are people making forty thousand dollars a week, and I believe this may be true, but these results, much like fad diet pills, are not typical.

The allure of network marketing opportunities are the success stories, but realistically, most people will be lucky if they earn an insignificant, or only part-time equivalent income.

Inbox Dollars: Makes cents, not dollars. But has potential to earn big.

Get paid to:
Read emails
Take online surveys
Try name brand products
Shop online (cash back)
Play games online.

Yes, with inbox dollars you can do all of those. But what is the real earning potential with inbox dollars?

Well, lets do the math. If all you were to do is read the email that are sent to your inbox. Which are about 1 or 2 every other day. Lets take the best possible scenario, you receive 2 emails every day at $0.02 each. That is $0.04 per day making it take you 30 days (one month) just to earn $1 or about $14.50/year. Now with the minimum payout being $30, it would take you just under 2 years to afford a payout as you receive a $5 sign on bonus.

You also earn for referring others to join under you and you make money every time they do. which is 10% of their earnings. So if you have a really strong down line, you have the potential to make a lot more than $14.50/year. But you really have to have a strong down line.

Again, lets do the math. Say you refer 100 people who consistently earn $10/month. With you earning 10% of what they earn, that would put you at earning an extra $100 per month or $1200 per year without even doing anything on your own account. Not really that bad, Who couldn’t use an extra $100/month. Keep in mind, if you leave your account inactive for 6 months it will be terminated. So if you are sitting back letting your down line earn your money for you. Remember to log on at least once a month just to keep your account active and to ensure that you don't forget about it altogether and have to start all over, losing all your referrals.

There are also a number of other ways to earn with inbox dollars (see list at top of post).

Like I said, with a strong enough down line you could make a pretty good amount of money with inbox dollars. But please, don’t rely on this as your primary income as consistent earnings are not promised.

Another thing you can do is pair inbox dollars with send earnings, another gpt (get paid to) site virtually identical to inbox dollars. Everything I’ve said above about inbox dollars goes for send earnings as well.

Current members say, -the best thing about inbox dollars is they always pay on time-. And, -I love how I can get paid for doing thing online that I do anyway-. Found on the inbox dollars members say section.

If this sound’s like something you would like to try, here are the links to these two gpt sites. Inbox dollars , Send earnings.

I do personally have an account on both inbox dollars and send earnings but have not requested a payout yet. Though keep in mind, they do have a $3 processing fee when you cash out that is deducted from your earnings. And they are not exactly up front about this fee, so just don’t be surprised when you cash out and are missing $3 when you get your money.

As always, questions and comment are welcome.
Thank you and have a great day.

Flybizs.com: Fly by this con.

Ahh, the dream of making $7 per click on a ppc site. Wouldn't that be nice?

This is exactly what Flybizs promises to do for you. Well don't let the excitement of this false promise entice you to join up.

The average ppc site will pay up to $0.02 per click, some on rare occasions will pay you $0.10 for a click but this is very rare. Now, with flybizs offering $7 per click. That would put them offering on average, 350 times what a good ppc site would offer. Not to mention you will get around ten or so add's to click on everyday whereas the average ppc site will give you two to four tops, which is also highly unrealistic.

Flybizs also offers a $77 sign on bonus and... Here, let me just make this a little simpler. Here is a list of their member benefits:

Member Benefits
Totally FREE membership
International Members are Welcome!
You can easly upgrade your membership to receive additional benefits !
We are sending only 7$ Paid Emails and PTC worth $3
$77 signup bonus before 10000 members!
For each person you refer- you receive 5$
$10000 minimum payout for Free Members.
$777 minimum Payout for upgraded members.
No down line required for payout!
Look at commission info
Payments via e-Gold, MoneyBookers,Libertyreserve,Stormpay,Money Order or check
You can get all commission from down line clicks.
(no active requirement!)

5 Referral levels of commission under you
Level 1 - 27%
Level 2 -17%
Level 3 -11% Level 4 - 7%
Level 5 - 3%

Now looking at that, this seems like a great deal. But... As the saying goes, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Which defiantly holds true in the case of flybizs.

Yes, I joined this site about a year ago and once I reached my cash-out threshold of $10,000 which took about 2-3 months, I requested my money. I have yet to ever see any money in my account or a check in the mail.

Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time on flybizs, refering people here will only make it more difficult to refer people to a legitimate site later. Once others realize you have sent them to a site such as this, they logically will not trust you the next time around. If you do feel the need to try this one out for yourself, you can sign up at www.flybizs.com but I implore you. PLEASE, DO NOT UPGRADE!!!.

Thank you all and remember, comments are welcome.

Peoplestring: The social network it pays to join.

So, what is peoplestring?

Peoplestring is (as the title states) a social network it pays to join.

You can become a member by one of the two ways.

The FREE MEMBERSHIP and the ENTREPRENEURS PACKAGE.

Free membership provides you with access to the social network, access to video email (duration less than 60 seconds), 2GB of email capacity, emails that can self destruct and opportunity to make 5% of the revenues generated by your personal recruits. You can also make 2% of the revenues down five levels.

Another option is through buying the 'Entrepreneurs Package' that comes with unlimited email capacity in addition to POP3 as well as IMAP support, a separate domain name with as many as 20 email accounts and better opportunities of making money through revenues as you can make as much as 20% on personal referrals and 6% down the line after five levels.

PeopleString is basically just another social networking site comparable to MySpace and Facebook. You can meet new people and share ideas on almost anything whether business or fun. If you are someone who enjoys this kind of socializing, PeopleString might be of some value to you.

However, if you are drawn to this service for making money you might need to reconsider. If you want to make money, you will have to take the Entrepreneurs package so that you can make use of the MLM Marketing system for recruitment as mere training offered by the service might not be able to help you much. The service lacks proper training and marketing that leaves you with only yourself to bank on. If you have the ability of making online marketing a successful venture, you will have to put in a lot of effort as just joining the right company might not always work. Your skills and capabilities can take you far ahead of your competitors in the field.

The question that still remains to be answered is whether PeopleString is just another fraudulent player in the market or you can actually make a lot of money from it, if you put in the right amount of effort and dedication? The facts and assessment of the available statistics point towards possibilities with respect to the service. It seems to be able to provide income opportunities to the member but it can't be made the mainstream source of income. It can at best be treated as an additional source of income that you can link with your basic MLM Marketing strategy. According to the statistics, the commissions paid are quite low and it might take you years to create a big enough group to earn substantial income for yourself.

People String is also working with companies who want to bypass the advertising giants and pay people directly for looking at their products/services. Quite a novel approach! The more people participate, the more companies will see this as a viable alternative to reaching their target audience.
It can potentially be quite lucrative, for those willing to recruit new members. They will earn a comission for every person they recruit, get paid per item of advertising they look at, thus getting a percentage of revenues from everyone they recruit for life! For those not interested in recruiting others, the remaining income streams may be more to their liking and more are to be added over time.
Those who are interested can click here www.peoplestring.com if they wish to take this company up on their offer.
The site is still at the "nuts and bolts stage" right now, but company representatives have given assurance that the "lab rats" are hard at work to turn People String into a popular and fun social media site as membership grows.
This is free now, free tomorrow and free forever for all to join and make money with them.

Surveyspot: not quick, but efficient.

If you haven't heard already, Surveyspot is a very popular survey site that pays cash for your answers. That's what devoted Surveyspot members say. Surveyspot is a great survey site with cash, prizes, and the opportunity to make money without leaving the house. Simple, right? Although they are legitimate. Surveyspot isn't a get-rich scam, people actually do win money, the surveys pay, but "when" you get paid is an entirely different matter.

Here's what you should know about Surveyspot. Surveyspot is a website created by Survey Sampling International, a huge provider for survey sampling solutions. Survey Sampling International was founded in 1977 to provide companies with survey opportunities to help their business. Legitimate survey sites run this way: companies request they send out their surveys for a small fee, the survey site sends the surveys out, and people fill out the survey. The pay entices the average person, the surveys are filled out, the company gets the statistics to better their business, everyone is happy. By filling out a survey, you help a business improve. Without you, business don't improve, and survey sites can't exist. At least legitimate survey sites.

Here are the requirements for joining Surveyspot: You must live in the United States, Canada, or United Kingdom, be 18 or older and must provide a valid mailing address. Once you join, Surveyspot sends surveys to your email inbox. At first, only in small amounts. Once you fill it out and prove you're a loyal customer, Surveyspot increases the surveys, throwing in paid surveys also. Not all surveys sent by Surveyspot are paid, but completing a free survey sometimes leads to product tests or another paid survey.

A quick note: Even if you don't qualify for a survey, which will happen. You'll be taken to the Surveyspot page, informed you don't qualify, and taken to a instant win screen. Surveyspot has an instant win sweepstakes you can enter after the end of each survey -- whether you've qualified for it or not. You have two options for entering: a scratch card or a slot machine. Finish these mini-games and you can win 5, 25, or 100 entries into their sweepstakes. You can win many things, including $25,000.

Does this review sound too good yet? Here comes the bad part: when they pay you.

Surveyspot isn't fast, but they are reliable. They're famous for this. Your money won't be credited into your account until the company verfies all information and reports it to Surveyspot -- believe it or not, you won't see money in your account for up to 6 weeks. After you're done waiting for your money to appear in said account, you can request your money sent as cash. That is, if you made the $5.00 minimum payout, of course.

Your check should arrive in 4 to 6 weeks, depending on where you live. It's a long, bothersome wait, but at least you got your money!

Surveyspot isn't that bad though, it's just not great for impatient folks who need cash fast. Surveyspot pays more money than other sites, ranging from $3-$5. $10-$20 surveys exist, but they're rare. You get paid and it won't screw you out of money, but don't depend on it for quick money. Surveyspot isn't quick. It's efficient. If you want some easy and guaranteed cash, this would be a good survey panel to join. If you want fast money, go elsewhere.

Footnote: I have made money with surveyspot. When I requested my payment, it took far less than six weeks to receive it. It was only a test run to make sure they really paid out so I cashed out at only $30, but I got it all within a short time.
